I made this irish Crochet yoke for my daughter's frock for her 2nd birthday. The flowers were crocheted first. I used my own patterns for the flowers. After the flowers and leaves were ready I pinned them to the cloth cutting then to the cushion.
While making the net I made a chain at the lower side and then slowly extended the net connecting the flowers and giving the shape of the cutting. Always pin the net as you progress so that it doesn't become loose.
Finally after stitching the frock , yoke should be hand stitched to the frock.
I am very happy with the outcome especially because it is my first attempt at irish crochet. I also followed some youtube videos for making the net. You have to hold your hand horizontal and then crochet. It was a little tough but a great experience.
